M.Ed. in Educational Psychology—Instructional Technology (IT)

The MEd program is designed primarily for individuals who want to broaden their knowledge of the use of technology in classrooms and other education venues. Students work closely with faculty in a collegial environment on both time-tested and leading-edge practices. You'll find yourself working with the most talented students from virtually every discipline and background, learning team leadership skills and forming lifelong friendships. The University of Virginia is one of the top-ranked public universities in the nation, and the Curry School is nationally recognized for its leadership and innovation, particularly in IT.

Prerequisites and Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the general requirements for admission to MEd programs.  These include two recommendations from faculty and/or employers, a goal statement, unofficial transcripts and official GRE scores that meet Curry criteria for admission. Recommendations must be solicited through Curry’s online application. International students must also submit official TOEFL scores.  More information can be found on the admissions website.

M.Ed. applications must be received by February 1. For more information on what is needed for admission see the Curry admissions page.
