Personal Statement
Allison Leach is a research scientist at the University of Virginia’s Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL). She is currently the Project Coordinator for the WT Grant and the NCRECE Kindergarten Tracking Coordinator for Phase III of the study. Other responsibilities related to NCRECE included recruiting, hiring, and training instructors for the NCRECE Professional Development project. As well as developing the NCRECE CLASS course. As the ABCTE Project Leader she led the work related to the development of the CLASS Video Library and professional development materials. She directly supervised the Project Manager and consulted with ABCTE and local district personnel as needed. Ms. Leach is also responsible for coordinating multiple content experts to review and identify CLASS exemplars for various CLASS online video libraries. Ms. Leach is a certified CLASS trainer who conducts trainings related to CLASS Reliability, using the CLASS for Professional Development, and training CLASS trainers.
