Personal Statement
My primary research interests lie in examining the association between early teacher-child relationship quality and children’s academic and social-emotional outcomes. In particular, my work focuses on the development of supports for teachers to enhance their social and instructional interactions with children. I am involved in several research efforts to test the efficacy of interventions designed to improve the quality of early teacher-child interactions as a way to support children’s academic and social-emotional development.
