Research Interests
Dr. Stanton-Chapman’s research focuses on identifying effective educational services and supports for young children with disabilities or at-risk for disabilities. Specifically, her work is directed toward the development of interventions to increase social interactions, peer acceptance, and improve social behavior in children enrolled in Head Start settings. In addition, she is interested in evaluating the social behavior of
preschoolers in the classroom setting.
