Hilary Kerner, the Curry Career Services Director, offers appointments for all Curry School students (including PhD, EdS, MEd, BSEd, PGMT and BA/MT) from all departments. Hilary will also see CLAS/GSAS or other UVA students interested in pursuing a K-12 position. To schedule an appointment, e-mail Hilary at kerner@virginia.edu with your available times keeping in mind, she is in the office (Bavaro 218-C) during the following times:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings
University Career Services also offers both counseling appointments and walk-in hours to all students at U.Va. (except those in the Darden, Law and Medical schools, which all have their own student and career services). General walk-ins should last about 15 minutes and are intended for resume and cover letter assistance. Otherwise, the counselor will give some starting guidance and then encourage the student to make an appointment for a later date. Sorry, we do not offer same-day 45 minute appointments.
Unless otherwise indicated, all UCS counseling is held in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.
