Ruffner Hall is open for business this fall after its 18-month major overhaul, and it looks amazing! Check out some of these photos of great spaces for students to meet, work, and study:
While the state of Virginia paid for the renovation work, funding for the new furnishings in our common areas is still being raised through private gifts from alumni and friends of the school. So far we have received $280,000 from 196 donors.
Special thanks goes to Jay Chronister, professor emeritus from our higher education program, who led a successful effort to raise $25,000 in donations and name a classroom in honor of alumnus Freddie Nicholas. Alumni, former faculty and friends of the higher ed program all contributed.
If you would like to discuss naming an office or classroom in Ruffner Hall, contact Kelly Reinhardt in our Foundation office.
You can also honor someone who made a difference in your life or leave your own mark at Curry by purchasing an engraved a brick for the courtyard between Ruffner Hall and Bavaro Hall for $250.
Gifts of any size to support the finishing touches on Ruffner Hall can be made online. Make a complete gift today or make a pledge that can be paid off over 1 to 5 years!
AND … Make sure you have the Ruffner Reopening Celebration and Curry Homecoming on your calendar: October 24!
