Saturday and Summer Enrichment Program (SEP)
Fostering talent development in gifted youth and their teachers
In coordination with the Curry School of Education, the Saturday and Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) seeks to offer gifted and/or high ability students a rich and rewarding learning experience. Modeling best practices in curriculum and instruction, the SEP staff works as a community to maximize potential in each student and foster a passion for lifelong learning.
SEP hosts two programs throughout the year. The Saturday program serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade and the Summer residential program hosts students in rising fifth through eleventh grade. Please click on the corresponding links for further program and application information.
Saturday Enrichment Program:
Class is cancelled for Saturday, January 23. The first day of class will now be on Saturday, January 30.
Dates for the 2016 season are:
5 Saturdays: January 30, February 6, 13, 20, 27, 2016.
Summer Enrichment Program:
The applications for Summer 2016 are now available, and will be due on February 15, 2016. Before you access the online application, please read about how to apply on the application process page which is linked below. On the process page you will find this year's Writing Prompt. There is one prompt for students rising into grades 5-7 and one for those rising into grades 8-10. Please select the correct prompt.
The dates for the 2016 season are:
Session 1: June 19 - June 30, 2016
Session 2: July 3 - July 14, 2016
Session 3: July 17 - July 28, 2016
Please read the Summer Application Process page about how to apply to SEP for the summer program 2016. There are 4 required elements, including a Teacher's Recommendation, a response to a Writing Prompt, a $25 application fee, and an application form.
