In coordination with the Curry School of Education, the Saturday and Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) seeks to offer gifted and/or high ability students a rich and rewarding learning experience. Modeling best practices in curriculum and instruction, the SEP staff works as a community to maximize potential in each student and foster a passion for lifelong learning.
SEP hosts two programs throughout the year. The Saturday program serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade and the Summer residential program hosts students in rising fifth through eleventh grade. Please click on the corresponding links for further program and application information.
Saturday Enrichment Program:
The Saturday Enrichment Program 2013 is completed for 2013. Thank you to all who participated in Charlottesville and in Warrenton. We enjoyed presenting the classes and hope you enjoyed them too. The applications for this program in 2014 will be available here on October 15, 2013.
Summer Enrichment Program:
The Summer program is a 2-week residential camp at UVa. Students apply to attend one of three Sessions each summer. 2013 Summer session dates are:
Session I: June 16th - 27th, 2013
Session II: June 30th - July 11th, 2013
Session III: July 14th - July 25th, 2013
The deadline for new applications for the Summer 2013 program has past (February 15th, 2013) and the camp is full and has a long waitlist. If you would like to establish an account in order to be on our mailing list for next year, you can do that, however it is too late to apply for a spot in 2013. To establish an account for the purpose of being on our mailing list, or to check the status of your 2013 application, or to make your final tuition payment, click here and scroll down on the Application Process page to the link "APPLY NOW ONLINE." Applicants who have been accepted must make their final tuition payment by June 1 in order to hold their spot in camp for Summer 2013.
