“Enhancing the Positive Youth Development Perspective: A Developmental Intervention Science Framework”
On April 2-3 Youth-Nex brought together 23 invited scholars —many world-renowned leaders in their fields—to U.Va.‘s beautiful Morven Farm. The purpose was to review, discuss, and reformulate the study of Positive Youth Development within a framework that views interventions as enhancing and affecting development. The conference was a success by all measures. We were able to formulate several critical scientific and scholarly issues and potential actions to solutions for advancing knowledge and capability about evaluation of programs thought to promote Positive Youth Development.
