Head Start Impact Study: Third Grade Follow up

This project involves consultation with Westat, Inc., regarding analysis of Head Start Impact Study data, including a Third Grade Follow-up. This study was designed to experimentally test the benefits of Head Start enrollment for at-risk children ages 3 and 4. We will be working in tandem with Westat to propose and then conduct a series of analyses that will address the extent to which quality of the Head Start and elementary school environments may moderate the effects of Head Start participation on children’s academic and social trajectories from the fall semester of preschool through third grade.
