Curry Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Research Group
Welcome! The Curry Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Research Group aims to conduct research that further clarifies our understanding of ASD and related interventions. We are currently working on several projects: Evaluating and Enhancing Driving Skills of Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Comparative Effectiveness of Intervention Approaches for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. See below for additional information.
In addition to these projects, the group strives to provide comprehensive and efficient diagnostic services via Curry Autism Spectrum Services (CASS), a multidisciplinary team within the Sheila Johnson Center for Human Services. See below for additional information.
The Curry ASD Research Group also activity collaborates with several organizations within the community. We are members of the Charlottesville Region Autism Action Group (CRAAG), which is associated with Commonwealth Autism Services. In addition, the Virginia Institute of Autism offers courses in applied behavior analysis, which are open to lab members.
