Cheryl has almost 20 years of experience creating and delivering customized professional development programs and undergraduate/graduate courses for K-12 inservice and preservice teachers, currently as the part-time co-director of the Center for Economic Education at Virginia Tech.  As the founder and director of the U.S. Economic Empowerment Project, Cheryl also designs professional development programs for adult educators and workforce development trainers who assist low socioeconomic and low educational attainment adults.  At CASTL, she is currently working on the MyTeachingTeam (MTT) project in Alexandria, Virginia and recently worked on Project CYCLE, a modified MTP-S project in Baltimore, Maryland.
