Dissemination & Outreach
The STAR project is building and testing new ways to share up-to-date knowledge and best-practice information with the broader community. Our approach includes sharing new scientific discoveries, resources and evidence-based practices online as well as face-to-face and virtual workshops, seminars, and conferences. Our Family Navigation Team also provides family education and outreach – helping to equip and connect families with resources and supports in their communities.
The Autism DRIVE (Data System for Research Integration, Visualization & Exchange) is a dynamic system for secure collection and sharing of information. The Autism DRIVE helps researchers collaborate with the autism community to gain insights into autism and to develop meaningful solutions for challenges experienced by individuals and families. It also provides individualized online access to training and resources for individuals with autism, their families, and the professionals who support them.
Our Family Navigation Team provides navigation, education and outreach to equip and connect families with resources and supports in their communities. Our Navigators provide emotional support and coaching to families as they navigate the system of care, and also offer education and resource information both in-person and virtually.
