The Remaking Middle School Working Papers Series was commissioned to synthesize existing knowledge and evidence on dimensions relevant to the task of optimizing young adolescent learning. Each of the four working papers features a two-page brief summarizing the research.

To spark the conversation, the Remaking Middle School Summit on February 12-13, 2019 aimed to rally a broad coalition of stakeholders nationally around a new vision and action agenda for young adolescents in the middle grades. participants began to generate solutions and build a national vision to transform the middle grades.
