I currently work with CASTL as a Research Associate on projects that seek to support teachers’ wellbeing and students’ social and emotional learning. In the past, I collaborated on laboratory-based as well as large scale projects that focused on factors that promote curiosity, self-regulation, and learning. In some of my recent positions, I supported the design and conduction of an experiment test, data collection and data management, among other responsibilities. I am originally from Colombia, South America, where I worked as a Clinical Child Psychologist and designed a mindfulness-based SEL program for children. My interest in child development has continuously focused my educational and professional career in child development-related fields, such as education, clinical therapy and now research.
