My research focus is financial aid policy, with the specific goals of identifying and mitigating barriers to college affordability using experimental, quasi-experimental, and descriptive methods. I am a co-principal investigator for several large-scale randomized control trials currently or recently in the field, which have received more than one million dollars in external funding. These projects test the effectiveness of personalized messaging and advising interventions at improving college students' decision making. I am also a Research Analyst for the Army's Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis at West Point. At OEMA, I research soldiers' and veterans' higher education decision making and outcomes.
