Moira completed her doctorate in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from Texas A&M University, and holds a Master’s degree in Health & Human Performance and a Bachelor’s in Latin American Studies. Prior to joining the STAR team, Moira managed the Student Flourishing Initiative at the Contemplative Sciences Center at UVa and was the founding director of the Employee Wellness program at Texas A&M University-Commerce. She has experience in managing collegiate fitness and wellness programs, working in student development and leadership, and conducting research on lifestyle interventions for faculty and staff working in higher education.
