$10M in Funding Awarded to CASTL Researchers in 2018

Faculty at the Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL) have taken on a number of new research initiatives since the start of 2018. Collectively, CASTL faculty received nearly $10 million in new funding to research a variety of pressing issues facing the field of education. Some of the research topics include evaluating a universal social and emotional learning intervention in 60 elementary schools, understanding character development in Expeditionary Learning (EL) Education schools, continuing an evaluation of core knowledge in charter schools and applying mindset interventions in postsecondary schools.

The following CASTL projects were funded in 2018:
